Private Ranch Hunts in Saskatchewan
Dunhams High Caliber Ranch has long been known as Canada’s largest, most established, private hunting ranch. Located on the eastern edge of central Alberta, our ranch is populated with giant Rocky Mountain elk and those elusive Saskatchewan whitetail deer. Our excellent accommodations and service, in addition to our guarantee of superior trophy quality is why we are the most sought after hunting destination in all of Canada.
With over two decades of unmatched successful management, High Caliber Ranch produces world class Rocky Mountain elk and monster whitetail bucks. High Caliber Ranch consists of 3 properties totaling almost 6000 acres of private land.
Your host, Rob Dunham, began High Caliber Ranch in the 1980’s. Rob’s dream was to have a ranch that produced the best trophy whitetails anywhere in the world. After 20 years of great genetics and management, Rob’s dream has become a reality!
Our clients can expect to harvest a bull elk with a score averaging over 375 B&C. Our hunters will take 10-15 bulls per year that score over 400 B&C, with 2 bulls to date scoring over 500 B&C!
At High Caliber Ranch, our guides, chef, accommodations and service all help add to the experience, making it the HUNT OF A LIFETIME! Each evening, we return to the lodge to enjoy great food, great drink, and great company! We pride ourselves in our lodging. The main lodge has two private bedrooms with two private baths. Attached are the main lodge and the bunk house. This facility, contains two more private bedrooms along with two more shared bedrooms. We can comfortably sleep eight guests.
The main lodge has all the amenities you would expect. Large dining room, comfortable living room fireplace surrounded by dozens of trophies from all over the world!
The bunk house has a private sitting area along with a small dining table for those who want to do their own business in peace, or have a visit with their friends on their own.
We have a state-of-the-art firing range, with targets for archery set up conveniently at the lodge, of course. The view from the lodge is a typical Parkland view, with half a mile of water for the ducks and geese in fall. The surrounding area is full of poplar Bush and Rolling hills.
The lodge sets a short 7 mile drive from the town of Lloydminster. Very convenient for gas and have forgotten items or if there are any special needs. The city of Lloydminster has an airport that can accommodate private planes and jets.
